Since its debut, we’ve been telling you how fast SunSync Elite is. But, as the old saying goes, seeing is believing. So, we figured we’d show you exactly how much faster this revolutionary light-reactive lens fades back than the top-selling photochromic in this dramatic video comparison. The woman on the left is wearing SunSync Elite lenses and the man on the right is wearing Transitions Signature VII lenses. You’ll notice at around 30 seconds on the stopwatch that SunSync Elite is already noticeably clearer. By the 50-second mark, SunSync Elite has cleared, giving you and your patients a light-reactive lens that fades back in seconds, rather than minutes. We’d love to get your thoughts on what you just saw. Please leave a comment below. Transitions is a registered trademark of Transitions Optical, Inc.

This video did not show me a side to side of how much faster the sunsync brand is than the transition brand. Just because you show me one gentlemen with darker lenses than another doesn't really show us how much faster it gets clear. Someone should really consider doing a side to side version in a video that may convince people that sunsync brand is better.

See not I clicked on a video that didn't show the side to side so I didn't think it was convincing enough. But when I went back and the page reloaded I saw the other video of the side to side version and yep its convincing. Awesome job!

I'm leaning towards unconvinced, yet interested. I'd like to see a time lapse video with a clock between the participants. More specifically, the video should also start when lenses are being activated and darkened from a clear state. This demonstration, while intriguing, leaves me with too many questions. A bit more full disclosure would be highly convincing.

I would also like to see how fast they darken and how dark they get. It seems as though the transition lens was darker at the start. Just curious.

I have worn both and notice the difference. Sunsync performs better. Availability is my only concern.

In the magazine adds, the lenses look pretty blue, not grey in their darkened state. That would make things brighter and more annoying. Maybe you could add a green photochromic to the slurry to make it more grey. That would sell me on it!
