When to Choose Which SunSync Lens: A Master Guide

Think back to when you were a kid and someone treated you to an outing to the local ice cream parlor. You walk through the doors and are greeted by the sweet smell of 31 flavors and fresh waffle cones. You approach the counter set on a double scoop of Rocky Road, but with your nose pressed up to the glass and an endless array of flavors before your eyes, you’re less confident in your choice.

The pralines and cream with caramel drizzle looks amazing, the strawberry is always a safe bet, and the neon swirl of color beaming from a half-scooped tub of rainbow sherbet pulls you in yet another direction.

In the end you stick with your original choice, but as you leave the shop with a taste of Rocky Road in your mouth and a trickle of it racing down the cone towards your knuckles, you wonder if you made the right call.

Decisions, Decisions.

When faced with a variety of great options, making the right choice can be tough. And feeling confident in your ultimate decision can be even tougher. Whether picking an ice-cream flavor or a photochromic lens, you want the sweet aftertaste of complete confidence following your choice.

When it comes to dispensing SunSync Light-Reactive Lenses, you may find it hard to decide between an ultra-fast lens and an extra-active lens. And you may find it even harder to choose between an ultra-fast extra-active and its standard counterpart.

It’s completely understandable. These lenses all share exceptional benefits, but they also have unique characteristics that make one a better recommendation than another for a particular patient. With everything you have going on in your day as an eye care professional, remembering the differences between each lens is a tall order.

Simplifying Dispensing, Instilling Confidence

Wouldn’t it be great if you had a tool that helped you quickly recall the differences between SunSync Elite, SunSync Elite XT, SunSync Drive XT, and original SunSync? And wouldn’t it be extra-helpful if that tool also helped you easily identify the exact patients for whom each lens is the right choice?

Imagine the satisfaction of knowing that you sent your last patient, a full-time mother of three, out the door in a lens that’s not only going to keep up with her ultra-busy lifestyle, but also improve her quality of life by providing the features, benefits, and visual experience tailored to her exact needs.

If that sounds appealing, you’ve come to the right place. This post will break down each lens in the SunSync portfolio and how they compare to one another. From the key benefits they provide to the patient priorities they satisfy to the lifestyles they accommodate, you’ll get the information you need to help you pair each person with the perfect SunSync Light-Reactive Lens in less time, with more confidence. And at the end of the post, you can download a handy master guide to keep by your side and refer to in the practice.

We’ll begin with SunSync Elite, but you can skip to the lens or section of your choice by clicking one of the following links. You can also download a handy comparison guide at the end of the article.

As I am looking at getting a new pair of sunglasses, I would be thrilled to try the SunSync Drive XT.
I have an active outdoor life with motorcycling and four wheeling in the summertime.
I see it as the perfect opportunity to promote the newest technology to my fellow riders.

Happy trails!
