SunSync Elite is ultra-fast, light-reactive lens that changes from dark to clear in seconds.[1]

What is the difference between SunSync Elite and original SunSync? |
SunSync Elite has significantly faster fade-back and activation speeds along with enhanced photochromic performance over the life of the lens.

What is the difference between SunSync Elite and SunSync Elite XT? |
SunSync Elite offers faster fade-back and a clearer indoor appearance than SunSync Elite XT. SunSync Elite XT gets darker in the activated state and retains color in the car.

How does SunSync Elite compare to Transitions® Signature® GEN 8™ Lenses? |
SunSync Elite exhibits faster fade-back speed than Transitions Signature GEN 8.[2]

What is the difference between SunSync Elite and SunSync Drive XT? |
SunSync Elite offers faster fade-back and activation speeds than SunSync Drive XT along with enhanced photochromic performance over the life of the lens. SunSync Drive XT will get darker in activated state and retain a tint behind the windshield.

What materials are available with SunSync Elite? |
SunSync Elite is available in 1.50 plastic, polycarbonate, and 1.67 high-index. Please contact your VSP® Ophthalmic Business Consultant for the most current availability.

What does SunSync Elite look like? |
SunSync Elite is clear indoors and dark outdoors.

How fast do SunSync Elite lenses activate and deactivate? |
Due to the high number of environmental factors that impact performance of light-reactive lenses, it is difficult to accurately provide exact activation and deactivation times. SunSync Elite returns to clear in less than a minute at 73.4°F.

Can anti-reflective coatings be applied to SunSync Elite? |
Yes. In fact, adding a premium anti-reflective coating like TechShield® Elite will enhance the performance of SunSync Elite.

How much blue light does SunSync Elite filter? |
As a standard practice we do not promote a single fixed percentage of blue light reduction for any of our products. This is because we do not feel this is the most scientifically appropriate or accurate way to describe what the lenses are actually doing in terms of blue light reduction.
Instead, we publish spectral transmittance graphs for our products – this shows the percentage of reduction at all wavelengths, not just certain points. How much does SunSync Elite cost? |
Price for patients wishing to pay out of pocket will be determined by the Eye Care Provider. Please refer to the VSPOne National Price List for SunSync Elite private-pay pricing.

Does SunSync Elite come with a guarantee? |
Yes. All products in the SunSync Light-Reactive Lenses portfolio are backed by a one-year, 100% satisfaction guarantee for VSP® Members. If not completely satisfied, VSP will refund the cost of the SunSync Elite lenses and replace them with clear prescription lenses, free of charge. Learn more about the SunSync Guarantee.

2. In independent testing SunSync® Elite fades from fully activated to 52.9% T in 40 seconds compared to 52.9 % T in 120 seconds for Transitions® Signature® Gen 8 ™. Testing conducted in Polycarbonate to ISO 8980-3 standard.
